History of E&E Lumber

In 1966, brothers Gilbert and Leonard Emory partnered to start E&E Lumber at 88th and State Street in Marysville, WA. Initially, they focused on re-milling cedar products into siding and fencing. As the business grew, they purchased the 6 acre property where the Marysville store in now located. At that point they added the paint and hardware products.

In 1972 they purchased the Sedro Woolley location and operated out of an existing building that was previously “TriValley Cash & Carry” store. In 1990, they constructed the existing new building in Sedro and since that time have evolved both stores into the Hardware / Lumber / Contractor yards they are today, where we supply building materials to 400+ houses per year.

Gilbert’s son Brent, grew up working in the stores and now oversees operations at all locations.

2005 was a turning point year for E&E Lumber. We purchased properties in East Wenatchee and Moses Lake. Both of these locations have large warehouses on-site and excellent showroom space. We are focusing on Cabinets, Windows, Doors and Millwork initially, at these locations with product on display to aid in your selection process.
